4. Digital Printing Vs. Offest Printing
Digital: Think of a giant digital copier, designed for print production.
The short and easy answer is that digital printing is faster and allows you to print low quantities at a reasonable cost.
Offset: The premium choice. Nothing prints a better image than an offset press, no matter how close digital printing comes, offset is better.
The down side to offset printing is time and money. It takes more time to complete a job, as we must set up the machine, plates etc.. It costs money for the labour to set up the machine, and for the materials used. The costs will become worthwhile as soon as you require 500 or more sheets. That's when offset printing becomes less expensive than digital printing.
